Job Position: Music Teacher
Phone Number: 970-488-8410
Room Number: #200
I was born in New Mexico, but I was raided on the Western Slope in Montrose Colorado. I grew up loving music, spending time with my Wildlife Biologist Parents, and exploring the great outdoors. After graduating high school, I moved to Fort Collins to continue my learning career.
I recently received my music education degree from Colorado State University where I had opportunities to work with students of all ages and play the saxophone in many different ensembles such as Jazz Band and Wind Symphony. I am so excited to join the Olander Schools for Project-Based learning, and work with students, parents, and other teachers alike.
Why I love Teaching:
I love teaching because it allows me the opportunity to inspire students through music, but also gives me the gift of learning through creative young minds in my school. I want to help students realize their full potential through the amazing world of music.
Interest & Hobbies:
In my free time I love to play my saxophone, go hiking/camping, watch movies (especially superhero movies), and spend time with my friends and family.
